A Beautiful Adoption Story!

I saw this video for the first time last night and I couldn't hold back the tears. (Especially when they share with the family--touched my heart!!) I love adoption for so many reasons. Adoption is what made us a family, but even more importantly, as a child of God I am "Adopted" too. I am so thankful for earthly adoption and also for our eternal adoption. They have both changed my life forever. Watch this video about God's Faithfulness to this family. I promise you will be blessed!

  1. typical wealthy white americans only looking for white babies..i suppose 'god' only gives kids of the same ethnicity, in the same country?why not look overseas for the babies/toddlers that need adoption?

    1. Thats a very close minded and judgemental thing to say, and statistically not even correct. You do not know what leads people to make decisions in their lives. Stop trying to push negativity on something with such a positive message.

    2. Anonymous, so you know this family and their journey personally? I know they refused all children that weren't white? Why look overseas when we have so many babies in this country that need a home? Yes, going overseas is a wonderful option for many families. But, it is considerably more expensive than local adoption. Do you know this sweet family's finances? You are judging with a cruel heart. How absolutely sad for you.

    3. That should be "Do you know" not "I know".

  2. Dear Anonymous,

I am sure there are couples who prefer the same race baby/child as they are, and if they do, I think that is perfectly fine. However, there are also a lot of adoptive couples who simply want to pour love into a baby or a child. They don't care what color their skin is. I have so many friends who have adopted different race children, and others who have also adopted overseas. Overseas was not an option for us, but another race was not an issue for us. While there are a lot of children who need to be adopted overseas there are also children who desperately need to be adopted and loved here in the states.

By the way, the God I serve is merciful and loving. After all, HE IS THE ONE who created these precious children. He loves no matter what color their skin is or where they are. He loves them all the same. If you do not like the stories that are shared here, you don't have to read it but I will not allow you to sit in judgement while you have no idea what others are going through.
